    Sr. Control Engineers

    to work at our Irvine, California office. The ideal

    Sr. Control Engineer

    will bring years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing control systems for electric vehicles. We're looking for engineers who have bold new ideas and courage to innovate for the future.

    Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
    Develop control algorithms and strategies for vehicle systems, including various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems.
    Create and analyze mathematical models of vehicle dynamics, propulsion systems, and other relevant components to optimize control strategies.
    Implement control algorithms in embedded software using industry-standard programming languages and tools.

    Design and conduct test methods to validate systems against requirements and performance goals; document and provide feedback to engineering teams.

    Work collaboratively with engineering teams to define sensing requirements, and establish control system capabilities.
    Collaborating with suppliers to develop efficient and cost-effective designs.

    Required Qualifications
    Master of Science degree or equivalent degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
    2-5 years of experience in vehicle control systems design and development. (e.g., experience with PLC controllers or ladder logic design is a plus.)
    High level of proficiency in modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink or similar).
    Strong programming skills with knowledge of languages such as C/C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
    Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and standards (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
    Being able to work and collaborate with colleagues with diverse backgrounds and involving multiple disciplines.
    Ability to multitask in a dynamic startup environment.
    Being able to work legally in the United States.
    Excellent interpersonal communication with strong verbal / written English skills.

    Salary Range
    The salary for the Control Engineer position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and expertise.
