    Sr. Energy Storage SCADA Engineer - Renewables
    Location: FULL-TIME REMOTE (Anywhere in the USA)
    This is an opportunity to join an industry-leading renewable energy venture focusing on utility-scale energy storage projects.
    At the forefront of the industry, with over 9GW of projects, this company is expanding and seeking a Sr. SCADA Engineer for their Asset Management Team.
    Key Role Overview:
    Drive the Asset Management strategy in Instrumentation, SCADA, and Automated Control Systems for renewable energy projects with a special focus on battery storage technology.
    Opportunity to contribute to the development of control system architecture integrated with proprietary data-driven decision-making technology platform.

    Responsibilities:
    • Act as an expert in Instrumentation, SCADA, and Automated Control Systems for energy storage projects.
    • Take ownership of control systems architecture and integrations based on ISO/RTO requirements.
    • Lead electrical control systems modeling or programming.
    • Manage SCADA and substation automation system integration process.
    • Develop and implement SCADA operating procedures for compliance standards.
    • Provide technical assessments of grid-tied inverter software and hardware solutions.
    • Evaluate battery storage dispatch models and system components for optimization.
    • Assess interconnection controls system infrastructure requirements.
    • Lead communication with stakeholders including Renewable Developers and Regulatory bodies.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline with focus on Power Control Architecture, SCADA, IC&E, or Automation Systems.
    • Experience in SCADA Commissioning, site-reviews, and project execution.
    • Advanced expertise in electrical control systems modeling or programming using tools like Python, MATLAB/Simulink, C, C++, or C#.
    • Hands-on experience in inverter system controls, battery storage, and control system integration protocols.
    • Ability to assess utility-scale renewable energy grid-tied inverter software and hardware solutions.
    • Proficient in defining SCADA/EMS operational scopes and technical requirements.
    • Strong understanding of ISO/RTO and transmission interconnection stakeholder management.
    • Knowledge of SCADA, Dispatcher Power Flow, User Interface, and Data Alarm Processing.
