    Consumer Lending Process Improvement Manager - Los Angeles, United States - First Horizon

    Summary

    Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates consumer credit system user needs and workflows. Serves as a project manager, documents requirements, and formulates processes to efficiently facilitate overall business strategies. Manages the consumer loan origination systems quality assurance processes and resources.


    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Acts as a liaison between internal customer and technical solutions/support groups to identify business processes, systems, and product requirements.
    • Works with managers and users to identify and implement process efficiencies by way of process re-engineering.
    • Considers the line of business implications of the application of technology to the current and future line of business environment.
    • Advises on methods to improve line of business processes.
    • Manages loan origination system testing and validation to ensure new or modified processes or features are working as designed
    • Analyzes line of business and user needs, documents requirements and translates into proper system/customer requirements specifications.
    • Creates solutions and develop processes to increase efficiency while maintaining departmental integrity and regulatory compliance
    • Formulates and defines scope and objectives for new initiatives, based on user needs and a good understanding of information technology, line of business processes, and industry requirements.
    • Applies extensive knowledge of the consumer lending industry to develop project specifications.
    • Coordinates and participates in proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new development.
    • Researches, identifies and develops solutions to problems.
    • Works closely with system users, internal customers, and related business units to create and groom stories that deliver clear and concise intent to developers/admins, testers, and user acceptance team.
    • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
    • May assist in the training of internal customers and peers.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned
    Qualifications Include


    • Associates degree and at least 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Experience with SQL, Visio
