    Position Summary

    We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in developing cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) experiences. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing VR and Software applications using a variety of tools including Unity, C#, and SQL. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with a diverse team, and shape the future of Nursing and our Nursing technology.

    Essential Function and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and design applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
    • Utilize SQL to effectively manage and manipulate data within applications.
    • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other engineers to bring concepts to life.
    • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in software applications.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
    • Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in area of specialization and may help to identify, develop, and deliver training content to other collaborators internal and external to the function.
    • Make other software developers better by example to help evolve their software development skills.
    Minimum Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
    • Experience developing VR applications using Unity/C#. within a business environment.
    • Python experience programming from within a business environment.
    • Proficiency in C# programming from within a business environment.
    • Working knowledge of SQL and database management.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Passion for new technology and a desire to contribute to its advancement in web applications and VR applications.
    • Experience with GitHub and Docker.
