    Job Title: Ocean Export Coordinator

    Location: Miami, FL

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team in Miami. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the export of goods via ocean freight, ensuring compliance with international regulations and client requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of logistics processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate all aspects of ocean export shipments, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
    • Communicate with clients, carriers, and agents to ensure timely and accurate shipment delivery.
    • Prepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor shipment status and provide updates to clients as needed.
    • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation routes and minimize costs.
    • Maintain accurate records and files for all export shipments.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the shipping process.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean export coordination or freight forwarding.
    • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience with freight forwarding software (e.g., CargoWise) is a plus.
    • Fluency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous.
