    Job Description

    Detroit Metro Law, PLLC is a commercial/business and real estate firm. We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the legal process, from conducting research to drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.

    Duties:

    Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis.

    Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and agreements

    Assist in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients

    Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings

    Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases

    Provide legal administrative support as needed

    Qualifications:

    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

    Admission to the state bar association

    Strong research and writing skills

    Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.

    Ability to negotiate effectively and litigate cases

    Experience in legal drafting and document preparation

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    Familiarity with various areas of law such as contract law, civil litigation, or family law

    Previous experience working in a law firm or legal department

    Knowledge of case management software for legal professionals
