Primary scheduled hours:
Full Time position that includes 24 hour shifts variable days.
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Physician (ER Physician) performs a medical screening examination on every patient presenting to the Emergency Room (ER) requesting treatment, without discrimination, including but not limited to their ability to pay.
As medically appropriate, render stabilizing and other medically necessary diagnosis and treatment to patients in need of professional care and transfer, refer, or coordinate admission of patients through other members of the Medical Staff.
Provide response and emergency treatment at the request of nursing staff regarding cardiac arrest or other emergencies. Promptly complete and sign appropriate medical records and other medical documentation required for each patient.Who are we?
Minimum Education:
Degree in Medicine from an Accredited Medical School
Required Licensure / Certifications:
Active Washington State Medical License and DEA
Board Certification/Board eligible
Required Experience:
5 years of residency training in Emergency medicine
ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience practicing as Emergency Provider
