    Description

    Nurses Etc. Staffing is currently hiring SDSU RNs (Same Day Surgery Unit - Registered Nurse) to work at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, VA.

    • Qualifications:

  • Degree: HCW shall have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
  • Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a RN working in an ambulatory surgery center/SDSU, performing phase II care to patients within the last two (2) years.
  • Certification/Licensure: Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Possess and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Possess and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license in any state in the United States, District of Columbia, or the territory of Puerto Rico to practice medicine.
