The Regional Sales Manager position is a challenging and dynamic position with opportunities for advancement.As a Regional Sales Manager with Westlake Financial, you will be educating and training you own team of 20-30 Sales Representatives.
This position located is in the Agoura Hills California Corporate Office.The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for creating sales and marketing strategies to grow Westlake's auto finance business. The role will be to oversee, train, manage, mentor and hold the Sales Team accountable.
The Regional Sales Manager will strategically grow Westlake's dealer base by identifying and capturing untapped markets and opportunities in both the independent as well as the franchise automobile markets.
Being in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a consultative sales and management approach. Each Regional Manager will manage their own team leading to growth and success.This is a full-time position including full-time benefits.
We are looking for highly motivated, highly dedicated candidates who are comfortable working in an office-based environment leading a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Sales FloorHire, Train and Mentor Sales Representatives and Supervisors80% of time spent on the Sales Floor with TeamSet monthly Team GoalsLead weekly Sales MeetingsProvide coaching of incoming and outgoing callsTrain all new reps specified by the Training AgendasConduct Sales PresentationsCall dealers as needed to assist Sales RepresentativesImplement company policies and proceduresPresent and sell company products and servicesTrain & develop new dealers as neededParticipate in marketing events as necessaryEnforce Sales Representative Minimum ExpectationsDevelop & maintain sales and marketing materialsOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND/
OR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years sales management experience leading a team 3 years + of sales, marketing, auto finance and banking expertiseHigh energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skillKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applicationsBachelor's degree in Business or a closely related fieldStrong computer skills, telephone management, and adaptability to new technologyGoal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teamsQualified Candidates must live in region and work in the officeWhat is our pay plan?Self-determined, performance-based compensation packageCompensation: $100,000 - $180,000The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
