- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

- Implement and monitor quality control metrics, analyzing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to develop and enhance quality standards and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Develop strategies to optimize production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards
- Analyze production data and implement measures to improve productivity, such as workflow enhancements, equipment upgrades, or process redesigns
- Streamline operations by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to safety, quality, and operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), preferred
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a packaging or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, quality control processes, and production management techniques
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Plant Manager to join our team at our fast-paced copacking facility in Latrobe. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity within the facility across multiple departments. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the desire to coach teams to success.
