Coordination Specialist for Leisure and Social Activities (m/f/d) in Beattystown, NJ:


We are looking for a temporary employee to cover parental leave in our Open Disability Services department as a Coordination Specialist for leisure, educational, and social activities, as well as vacation trips.


Your responsibilities:


  • Planning and organizing leisure, educational, and social activities for youth and adults
  • Creating program brochures
  • Acting as a contact person for participants, family members, and staff
  • Participating in committees, public relations, and networking for the Open Disability Services department

We expect:


  • Completed training as a teacher / special education teacher (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification, or completed degree in Social Work / Social Pedagogy
  • Structured and independent work in organizing and coordinating tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, occasionally in the evenings or on weekends
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power-Point)
