    The Easy Apply team at Credit Karma plays a vital role in shaping the future of our products and making financial progress accessible to all. We are on a mission to empower our 110 million members to make informed financial decisions, whether it's obtaining their first credit card, leasing an apartment, or navigating tax filings. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join us in positively impacting the financial well-being of our members.

    What Youll Do:

    • Unleash innovation in server-side web development to deliver a unique user experience
    • Assess cutting-edge technologies and execute strategic implementations
    • Independently develop product features to address member challenges
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to shape long-term architectural goals
    • Engage in on-call rotations to maintain system integrity and address any issues

    Minimum Basic Requirement:

    • 5+ years of programming experience focusing on back-end development
    • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript
    • Extensive experience in developing back-end applications for high-traffic websites
    • Contributions to API design and strong UX/UI Design Principles
    • Solid grasp of core web technologies like HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON
    • Hands-on experience with automated testing suites such as Jest or Mocha
    • Track record of collaborating with and mentoring team members
    • Team-oriented with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced expertise in JavaScript with hands-on experience in Typescript
    • Knowledge of various approaches to securing APIs
    • Proficiency in building efficient server-side applications for optimal performance
    • Experience in developing and consuming GraphQL APIs
    • Familiarity with React and A/B Testing methodologies
