We are looking for a software Engineer to help us make an impact on the financial health of our 110M members.
What You'll Do:
Willingness to push the bounds of server-side web development with the goal of creating a unique experience for users.
Evaluating key technologies and driving thoughtful implementations.
Independently work on product features to solve member problemsCollaborate with senior engineers to contribute to long term architectural milestones.
Participate in on-call rotations to support our system and respond to any issuesMinimum
Basic Requirement:
5+ years of programming experience with a focus on back-end developmentExpert level understanding of JavaScriptExperience working on back-end applications for high volume websitesExperience helping drive API design- Strong sense of UX/UI Design PrinciplesSolid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX and JSON.Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or MochaExperience collaborating and mentoring teammatesTeam player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsExpert level understanding of JavaScript with extensive hands-on experience with TypescriptUnderstanding of different paradigms to secure APIsExperience building efficient server-side applications for optimal performance.
