- Supervise daily work and safety of employees involved in order selection, product replenishment, and order loading.
- Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
- Prepare work schedules, including extra work days and shifts.
- Administer proper utilization of Company assets.
- Coordinate necessary repairs with appropriate departments.
- Review warehouse functions and productivity reporting, suggest efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures, and assist with implementation of changes.
- Conduct shipping and loading audit daily, manage sanitation, facility/racking damage, and training of new associates.
- Maintain associate relations, enforce Company policies, and lead safety efforts.
- Recommend disciplinary action and execute management functions of staff selection, development, and performance reviews.
- Perform employee duties when necessary and comply with regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar major preferred.
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
- Obtain Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, write reports, and present information effectively.
- Mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, knowledge of software, and ability to engage and lead discussions.
- Demonstrate consistent work discipline, deadline management, and teamwork.
- Physically able to meet job demands.
- Exposure to various working conditions, non-traditional hours, travel, and physical demands.
