POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns. Their duties include researching, creating marketing campaigns content, graphics, and social media.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide support to the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns, special theme weeks and events.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Graphics Designer to execute on wellness center's marketing and brand strategies as well as implementation of annual Marketing Plan.
  • Work with project management tools to organize the production of marketing collateral, materials, and requests from the team. Ensure proper and timely completion; work with outside vendors to meet deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain professional graphics and identify standards for CalaVie's communications.
  • Take projects from the initial concept stage and coordinate steps through the completion of the projects to include photography, copywriting and design while adhering to brand standards.
  • Anticipating the needs of CalaVie to reach revenue goals throughout the year by working with the department leads to brainstorming and developing successful campaigns.
  • Define design criteria; develop concept and direction; propose, direct, and create art.
  • Manage, develop, and implement a comprehensive image library for CalaVie with tracking of photo and model releases.
  • Responsible for print service specifications, purchasing, approvals and quality control.
  • Select and purchase graphic supplies.
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventory; maintain accurate files and records.
  • Contribute to the editorial development of projects.
  • Assist Director of Marketing with projects i.e., sending out press kits, photo & video shoots, social media posts, and adhoc projects as needed.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are complied with and report all accidents.
  • Attend training workshops and meetings if/when requested.
  • Help develop new programs or procedures to keep us on the cutting edge of the latest trends and technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
A two-year college or trade school degree in graphic art and design or marketing; bachelor's degree preferred.


Knowledge:
Mac and PC Knowledge - Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Understanding of marketing to luxury clientele with ability to think innovatively.

Advanced experience and knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of marketing, digital art, graphic design, layout and illustration; Operation of a personal computer and current graphics software programs; principles and techniques of typesetting, color theory digital printing and photography; printing processes (including four color process), various types of ink, paper stock, and other supplies used, their characteristics, uses and limitations; electronic desktop publishing equipment and techniques.


Experience:
Proven graphic design and copy writing experience; project coordination, production and design, and desktop publishing. Photography experience a plus.


Skills/Abilities:
:Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; Strong organizational skills and detail oriented;
High level of assessment and organizational skills;
Ability to deal with the public, and help with media events on and off property; Ability to write and correspond with guest(s); Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, contracts, and procedure manuals; Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team; Ability to handle high stress in the work environment and turn it into positive energy in the department; Ability to react quickly to resolve problems or conflict.


Availability:
Ability to work any day of the week, any shift, and long hours when necessary. This position is full-time on-site.
