Consultant - US MEP & Commissioning EngineersSr/ Mid Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Join a dynamic team and growing team, at a reputable organization known for providing exceptional engineering and technical support in the commissioning of critical facilities.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in witnessing the testing of complex electrical systems and contributing to the success of the firms projects.
They are hiring at both Mid and Senior level, you will find a brief overview below, with my contact details below for further details:Responsibilities:
Perform test procedures and assist in the development of MEP test procedures.
Utilize fundamental test equipment effectively to conduct required tests and assessments.
Interact with contractors and interpret design specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Possess knowledge of electrical systems from an operations perspective.
Comfortably work around live components, three-phase AC Power Systems, and Direct Current (DC) power systems.
Conduct site observation surveys and prepare field reports on project status and compliance with plans and specifications.
Familiarize yourself with relevant codes, local regulations, construction practices, and the latest equipment functional concepts.
Adhere to all project safety requirements, including specific on-site regulations, to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform routine calculations to support project activities.
Coordinate with other field engineers as a project coordinator, ensuring smooth printing, presentation, and administration procedures.
Develop MEP test procedures and operating procedures to streamline project execution.
Respond to RFI's as requested by the PM Team.
Perform various administrative duties to support project documentation and management.
Undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience in commissioning critical facilities.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and systems.
Comfortable working with live electrical components.
Knowledge of codes, local regulations, and construction practices related to commissioning projects.
Proficient in using fundamental test equipment and conducting routine calculations.
Detail-oriented and capable of preparing accurate reports and documentation.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
