- Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex building automation, fire alarm, access control security and video analytics systems proprietary to Honeywell.
- Perform Windows Server system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches
- Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer
- Programming includes SQL databases, EBI's and Graphics Front End Command and Control software.
- Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications)
- Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations
- Proper use of safety personal protection equipment
- Security and other clearances as required by customer
- This is a travelling field service engineer position based in the Sacramento area
- 5 years of experience

- Ability to work independently 75% of the time
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
- Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

- NICET Level II Certification
- CCNA, Security+, CISSP, Microsoft
- Honeywell Notifier Fire Alarm Certified
- ProWatch Security Certified (Mercury, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Gentec Certifications accepted)

Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityThe main function of this position is to provide configure, deploy and upgrade workstations/servers to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery turn key solutions.
These customers will have various products installed that fall into the - HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems.
The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.The salary for this position is $83,800 - $115,000.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
