    Overview:

    As an Avalara Software Sales Executive specializing in the property tax market, you will help achieve growth and success in this specialized domain of tax compliance. You will use your expertise in software sales and property tax and will identify, cultivate, and close business opportunities with prospective clients.

    You will be reporting to our Senior Sales Director for Property Tax and can work remotely.

    You'll be part of a dynamic team of professionals who share your experience with software sales and property tax compliance.

    • You will develop knowledge of property tax regulations, challenges, and opportunities. Provide subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues.
    • Identify and target potential customers within the property tax market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the choice for tax compliance.
    • You will build a sales strategy tailored to the property tax sector, applying Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators.
    • Understand the needs of clients within the property tax market and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
    • Establish and nurture long-lasting customer relationships, being a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
    • Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara.
    • Collaborate with our teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Success, to ensure successful customer onboarding and satisfaction.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • You will have 10 years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in the property tax market and related tax compliance issues.
    • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
    • Experience digging into prospects' pain points and validating the issues they're facing with customers at all levels.
