- Proficiency in Elite Legal or Aderant billing software is desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
The Billing Specialist oversees all aspects of creating client bills. Key tasks include: Working closely with Client Services Lawyers (CSL), legal secretaries, and others to ensure prompt billing and collection; monitoring unbilled time; creating proformas; generating draft bills; verifying bills align with billing agreements; conducting manual calculations; preparing write-up/write-down forms and seeking approvals. Generating bill reports, fee and expense summaries, and finalizing bills. Addressing billing/collection issues with clients and coordinating with CSLs on engagement letters. Organizing client billing records.
