    Join KYU as a Line Cook!

    KYU is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to become part of our team. As a Line Cook, your main tasks will involve food preparation and upholding sanitation standards. We need someone with experience who can follow recipes accurately, keeping our standards high. Good communication and the ability to handle multiple tasks are key to thriving in this position. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to the success of our restaurant.

    Responsibilities:

    • Setup and organize the kitchen and preparation areas.
    • Prepare various ingredients for dishes, such as cutting meat, chopping vegetables, and making sauces.
    • Follow direction from the head chef.
    • Ensure that all food preparation and storage areas adhere to safety regulations.
    • Clean and store leftovers properly.
    • Manage kitchen inventory and restock supplies.
    • Work closely with the kitchen team to prepare menu items.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Culinary Arts certificate or similar certification.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a comparable role.
    • Thorough understanding of best practices in a kitchen and cooking techniques.
    • Effective communication and organizational abilities.
    • Strong multitasking skills.
    • Team player with efficient work habits.
    • Prior experience in fast-paced restaurant settings.
    • Background in fine dining.
