  • Annual learning & development stipend ($1,500 per year)
  • We are seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to manage and enhance OpenAI's transaction tax operations.
  • You will be responsible for managing complex tax issues, including global indirect tax and tax technology implementation.
  • You will report to the Indirect Tax Lead and work closely with the broader Tax team and external tax advisors.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation, filing, and payment of all indirect tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of progressive experience in tax roles, including a strong background in indirect tax
  • A CPA or equivalent, with a deep understanding of US indirect tax laws and regulations.
  • OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
