    Description
    My client based in Chatsworth, CA is actively seeking a talented Senior Accountant to contribute to their team's success.

    As the Senior Accountant you will own the month-end close process across the Balance Sheet, help prepare and review financial statements, prepare and enter journal entries, and reconcile accounts.

    My client is a well established and growing industrial manufacturer with offices in Chatsworth, CA.

    As the Senior Accountant you will lead and participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

    Review and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
    Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
    Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
    Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
    Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
    Oversee inventory and COGS entries.
    Help with mentoring and training junior staff members.
    As the Senior Accountant you will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    Proven experience in month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
    Have a strong understanding of inventory and COGS.
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
