    Description

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties, including supporting month end, journal entries, tax and reconciliations.

    This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives. Our Client is a leading beauty brand known for its innovative makeup products and dedication to inclusivity.

    With a global presence and a commitment to empowering individuals through cosmetics, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join the finance team.


    General Ledger Management:
    Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
    Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.


    Financial Reporting:
    Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
    Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations of accounting transactions.

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.
    Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue customer invoices.


    Compliance and Controls:
    Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
    Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and incorporate updates into accounting practices.
    Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and procurement, to support business objectives.
    Provide financial insights and analysis to help inform decision-making processes.
    Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller.
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    ~ 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to month-end close processes.
    ~ Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
