    Field Service Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Systems

    Location:
    Northeast United States (50% Travel Required) – Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire

    Are you ready to electrify your career in the energy sector? Our dynamic Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team is expanding, and we are on the hunt for an energetic Field Service Engineer with a passion for battery energy storage systems.

    This position plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge battery storage solutions across a diverse array of projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Conduct on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of battery storage systems to ensure optimal performance.
    Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and thermal management systems.
    Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
    Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
    Document service activities and generate service reports and system documentation.
    Collaborate with the engineering team to identify system improvements and recommend product enhancements.
    Participate in the training of clients and junior engineers on system operation and maintenance.

    Knowledge and Training Requirements:
    Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.
    Proven experience in field service engineering, particularly with battery energy storage or related technologies.
    Strong understanding of electrical schematics, energy management systems, and inverters.
    Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    Familiarity with national and local electrical codes.
    Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, including possible international assignments.
