Description
Job Description Responsibilities:
Review geotechnical investigation reports and develop foundation design criteria for bidding and detail design projects;
Review and prepare geotechnical scope of works for geotechnical investigation, geophysical survey;
Ability to work in multiple projects and respond quickly to field problems;
Proficient with Geotechnical Design Software (Plaxis, Geostudio, L-Pile, GRLWEAP etc.);
Knowledge in International standards (ASTM, IBC, ASCE, API, ASTM, BS, Euro Code, FHWA etc);
Excellent in preparation of geotechnical reports such as site conditions, foundations, liquefaction, soil improvement, slope stability, etc;
Ability to travel to site to supervise geotechnical activities;
Develop software for foundation design calculations and soil improvement evaluation;
Communicate with project teams and support staff on geotechnical issues;
Take an active role in continuous improvement of geotechnical team;
Maintaining good relations and coordinating with Owners and Consultants;
Highly developed problem-solving and time management skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of working experience abroad in Plant Construction (e.g. Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical);
Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering or related field;
5 or more years of experience in Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, Chemical, Power, Wind Farm Projects;
Professional Affiliation as Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer license (optional);
Experience in geotechnical scope of works for all FEED and EPC Projects within budget and time;
Experience in onshore and offshore (marine) projects;
Fluent in English;
Proficient user of MS Office.
