The Company

Our client is an internationally leading specialty chemical company.

With its core products, high technical expertise, flat hierarchy, and international teamwork, our client has been a leader in its field for decades.

An internationally oriented personality is sought for the Business Unit Mobility, reporting directly to the Head of the Business Unit.

Among others, the major players in the automotive industry - manufacturers and suppliers - are customers of this unit.

In this position, you will play a key role in the development of products and the further direction of the company.

Accordingly, this position offers a great deal of room for personal and professional development.

The Position

Technical and disciplinary leadership of three laboratory managers, with teams located in Germany, UK, USA, and other employees in development in Germany (a total of 25 employees in the responsibility area)
Overall responsibility for the development and technical service of Performance & Sustainable Fuels within the company group. This includes the development of a wide range of innovative, customized hydrocarbon products such as test and reference fuels and sustainable hydrocarbon products
Planning, goal and budget responsibility
Technical representative in discussions with customers, partners, suppliers, etc.
Driving and accompanying the development of future topics and their strategic implementation (innovation driver in the company)
Also driving technical developments in various national and international working groups
IP management: development of patents, support in legal matters, and technical contract negotiations
Overall responsibility for audits, management reviews, and accreditations
