For over 50 years, the kbo Children's Center has been a pioneer in social pediatrics and offers the widest range of treatment options in Germany with around 300 employees.

Our specialized clinic for social pediatrics and the Social Pediatric Center (SPZ) work together in interdisciplinary teams (m/f/d) of doctors, psychologists, nursing and educational staff, therapists, and social workers.

We are looking for a team assistant for outpatient patient coordination (m/f/d).

The team assistant department has 15 employees (m/f/d) and is responsible for coordinating both inpatient and outpatient patients (m/f/d). This includes central appointment scheduling, supporting our healthcare providers (m/f/d), and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Coordination of patient appointments in consultation with medical and therapeutic professionals
Assistance in organizing medical and psychological consultations
Telephone support and followup for patient inquiries, referring doctors, and hospitals
Management of our location in Lake Elsinore, including patient intake and direct patient contact
Processing of health insurance inquiries
General administrative and secretarial tasks, administration, and filing
Covering for colleagues during vacation and sick leave
