About Us

Harveyville is one of the largest hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein, serving as an academic teaching hospital for the universities of Kiel, Lübeck, and Hamburg.

With a team of 2,900 employees, we provide care for over 2,900 patients annually, both inpatient and outpatient.

Our Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery department is one of the largest in the region, with over 70 beds and approximately 2,900 inpatient and outpatient cases per year.

We are a certified regional trauma center, endoprosthesis center, and spine specialty center, with VAV accreditation.

Our state-of-the-art medical and building equipment, high level of digitalization, and close collaboration with the central emergency department and occupancy and operating room management set us apart.

We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Senior Physician (m/f/d) to join our team and help further develop our department.

What to Expect

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of trauma cases, including pediatric trauma, as well as spine and pelvic injuries.

We also offer extensive endoprosthesis care for the hip, knee, and shoulder, as well as conservative orthopedics. Our department also includes sections for hand surgery, plastic surgery, and spine surgery. You will have the opportunity to complete your full training in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, as well as Specialized Trauma Surgery, and 24 months in hand
