- Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to established service procedures and timing guidelines.
- Table Maintenance: Ensure that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the event, promptly clearing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, answering questions, and accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and special event sales managers, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of events.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during events, including guest complaints, technical difficulties, or service disruptions.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food, adherence to alcohol service regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Event Breakdown: Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including clearing tables, packing up equipment, and restoring banquet rooms to their original condition.
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
