Job Summary
As a Software Engineer at Fielmann USA, you will tackle challenging real-world problems, enriched by cutting-edge AI and AR solutions. We're seeking a passionate Full-Time Software Engineer to develop and enhance our customer experience platform. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers and developers dedicated to crafting, sustaining, and advancing our customer experience enhancement solutions.

Backend Development: Proficient in developing Python and Node.JS back-ends and consuming APIs.
Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Version Control: Working knowledge of version control using Git.
Software Engineering Practices: Understanding of good software engineering practices, including clean code principles.
Additional (Desirable) Skills
Mobile Development: Ability to develop mobile applications and prior experience in mobile app development.
Cloud Services: Some experience with PaaS solutions like GCP, AWS, and a willingness to learn more.
Serverless Architecture: Familiarity with serverless architecture, including designing and implementing solutions that leverage cloud functions for scalable, efficient applications without the need to manage server infrastructure. This includes an understanding of event-driven, microservices architecture and the ability to optimize for performance and cost.
Containerization and CI/CD: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and CI/CD processes.
Machine Learning: Experience in deploying machine learning models is an asset.
Shell Programming: Experience with shell programming, such as bash or ksh.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Degree Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering or related fields.
