Job summary

This is an entry level Personal Trust Officer position responsible for administering personal trust accounts such as testamentary/intervivos trusts foundations and agency accounts in accordance with terms specified in the trust instrument.

Under general guidance from the trust team opens and maintains estates trusts agency accounts and guardianships Become familiar with the governing document to interpret terms responsibilities and duties of the Bank Receive guidance in understanding provisions of the documents strategies associated with assigned accounts Develop maintain relationships clients help execute day to day administrative functions Maintain up-to-date knowledge account activity reviewing various reports Seek guidance tax administration issues Analyze anticipated income insure sufficient cash maintained meet beneficiary distributions banks fees trust bills etc Obtain missing documents clients Initiate annual administrative review accounts Review files completed forms codes payments transactions accuracy Review forms ensure consistent Trust Document Produce review various tax reports clients intermediaries Research deficiency notices Pay estimated taxes allocates payments between principal income file returns maintains calendars Communicate Tax Vendor external intermediaries Gather data reconciliation ensuring requirements met charitable trusts computes distribution amounts uni-trust reviews fee agreements bank clients Co-Fiduciaries Complete discretionary requests Submit formal approval Coordinate setup tracking monitoring personal property inventory real estate mineral oil gas intellectual properties financial assets Provide client service responding researching inquiries phone email written communications Respond advisors intermediaries administration maintenance accounts Fields phone calls client intermediary Review responses compliance department audit OCC inquiries research performed TA Gather information projects Prepare draft correspondence letters memos Maintain new logs Follow Regulation process Maintain appropriate training continuing education internal programs licenses certifications
