    Fastly is looking for a highly skilled Procurement Manager to help grow Fastly's Indirect Procurement Team.

    Reporting to the head of Procurement, this position will be responsible for sourcing, commercial negotiations and reporting across all internal departments and indirect purchasing categories.

    As a Procurement Manager, you will combine your deep experience negotiating various contracts with supplier management to provide your internal stakeholders with cost-conscious solutions and outstanding customer service.


    What You'll Do:
    Negotiate and structure complex new and existing supplier contracts through a data-driven negotiation strategy
    Communicate relevant contract details to key stakeholders (e.g. Law, Finance, Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, etc.) as required
    In every negotiation, drive Procurement goals including supplier consolidation, segmentation and spend reduction
    Perform regular reviews of existing contracts; track deadlines, research alternatives, and identify cost-saving opportunities
    Manage all aspects of the Supplier Lifecycle from sourcing to offboarding
    Align purchasing practices to support Fastly's overall business strategy
    Build relationships and partner closely with key business stakeholders (e.g. Law, Finance, Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to drive negotiation and cost savings success
    Coordinate appropriate resources in support of new purchases (e.g. IT, Quality/Regulatory, R&D, etc.)
    Track and maintain monthly Procurement Team metrics for senior leadership and board review
    Create and maintain audience-specific purchasing documentation for the Procurement Team and all internal stakeholders
    Delight internal customers and business partners through excellent customer service


    What We're Looking For:
    10+ years of related experience in a sourcing, buying or negotiation function with a proven track record of success
    Experience reviewing various types of contracts (including but not limited to: Software (both SaaS and On-Prem), Sponsorship, Contractor / Consulting, Advertising, Benefits, Events and successfully negotiating beneficial outcomes
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a passion for details
    An agile, highly-motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is able to quickly adjust to the changing priorities of a growth company
    Excellent relationship development skills to foster partnerships across all departments and levels of the organization, including multiple time zones and diverse geographical locations
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Excellent time and project management skills
    Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets, e.g. formulas like XLOOKUP/SUMIFS, pivot tables, executive level presentations
    Ability to work independently and within a team environment
    A sense of curiosity and desire to learn everyday

    Work Hours:
    This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

    Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.


    Salary:
    The estimated salary range for this position is $111,000 to $154,170.

    Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

    This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
