    Community Development Specialist (Affordable Housing Commission)

    Salary

    + Minimum: $44,278.00

    + Maximum: $69,212.00

    Position Specifications

    Incumbents in this position are responsible for directly monitoring and implementing affordable housing service programs for the Citys Affordable Housing Commission. Duties include: donor financing and grant administration; completing evaluations of grant proposal applications submitted for annual funding; conducting onsite monitoring of grantees and developers and generating a variety of correspondence.

    Minimum Qualifications

    A Bachelors degree in Business or Public Administration, Urban Planning, Accounting, or a related field; plus two years of experience working in affordable housing programs. Qualifying experience must include evaluating grant proposals and monitoring them for compliance. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request.
