Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Chief Physician and Surgeon, the Physician and Surgeon (P&S) will act as a subject matter expert in the treatment of patients within the Integrated Substance Use Disorders Treatment (ISUDT) program. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with opiate and alcohol use disorders, as well as contributing to the establishment of a state-level addiction medicine initiative that equips primary care providers to detect, refer, and manage patients with substance use disorders. This role may involve on-call duties and occasional travel to healthcare facilities and community organizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Individuals eligible for a Training and Development role may also be considered for this position.
Working Conditions
Travel is a component of this role.
