    Job Title: Senior Specialist, Quality (Process) Engineering

    Job Description:

    The Quality Assurance Engineers ensure that products and services meet contractual and Company requirements by designing, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving quality assurance methods and systems.

    Responsibilities include translating design drawings and contractual requirements into a comprehensive quality plan, monitoring manufacturing processes, coordinating with customers on quality requirements, and representing quality assurance in corrective action activities.

    The Quality Process Engineer is responsible for integrating quality requirements in special processes at the Canoga Park facility, requiring a strong understanding of industry standards and practical experience.

    The Senior QPE collaborates with customers to resolve manufacturing issues and drive process improvements proactively.

    Essential Functions:
    • Lead failure investigation reviews and implement mitigating activities
    • Prepare for and resolve audits and inspections
    • Coordinate with DCMA on quality issues
    • Participate in cause and corrective action activities
    • Embed quality requirements in manufacturing special processes
    • Develop and implement inspection plans
    • Analyze manufacturing data for process improvements
    • Manage quality projects independently
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of related experience or equivalent

    Knowledge of:
    • Applicable codes, rules, and regulations
    • Quality engineering and mission assurance principles
    • Quality planning and corrective action processes
    • Quality management system standards
    • Manufacturing processes and inspection techniques
    • Data analysis techniques
    Ability to:
    • Evaluate data and processes
    • Read blueprints and specifications
    • Effectively communicate
    • Work in a team environment
    • Conduct research and investigations
    • Create quality metrics
    • Operate test and measurement equipment
    Preferred Additional Skills: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $80,500 - $149,500. L3Harris also offers benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, education assistance, paid time off, and more.

    Specific programs may vary based on hire date and collective bargaining agreements.
