    Description


    The recruiter for Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is responsible for the sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating external DVM candidates through a variety of sources and recruitment techniques, including partnering with University and Professional Association channels to attract talent.

    The DVM Recruiter will effectively engage candidates and internal client groups throughout the recruitment and selection process.

    The DVM Recruiter is responsible for coaching and advising internal clients to influence action and decision making throughout the recruitment process.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Talent Acquisition Manager in the execution of the recruitment processScout talent from across the country to build a candidate pipeline designed for scaleSource candidates through creative sourcing strategies and practices including multiple social media platformsDevelop and maintain an organized pipeline of candidatesAssist with marketing both digitally through social media and using print for advertising postings and pipeline buildingAssist with career fairs, professional association events and other promotional recruiting opportunitiesPrepare and deliver offer letters to identified candidatesWork directly with Talent Acquisition Manager and company leaders to fully understand staffing needsAssist in the day-to-day working relationships with outside Recruitment Services/PartnersPartner with peer DVM Recruiters to ensure candidates are moved through the process smoothly, efficiently, and effectivelyEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEFull cycle recruiting experience requiredBachelor's Degree or commensurate work experienceCOMPETENCIESTeam PlayerAbility to Influence and NegotiateKnowledge of general recruitment processes, solutions, language, and best industry practicesExcellent communication and organization skillsEthical practiceConsultationATS UtilizationRecruiting MetricsCOMPUTER SKILLS MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word; MS PowerPoint Word Processing software; ADP Workforce Now or other HCMTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Limited travel expectations outside of Career and Professional Association and in person Job Fair participation
