    We have recently launched a "game changing" solution that will generate clean, reliable hydrogen using our world-class fuel cell technology and are looking for a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies in sunny San Jose, CA

    You Will:

    • New product development
    • Design and development of electrical and power electronic systems for grid parallel, stand-alone and storage applications
    • Collaborate with domestic and international teams to successfully develop electrical systems.
    • Start to finish ownership of total system electrical design - starting from concept phase to release to manufacturing and field support.
    • Vendor selection, specification development, design validation and acceptance testing
    • Design new adaptations or modifications to existing products to increase reliability, improve performance, and reduce costs.
    • Troubleshoot, define, and initiate corrective actions for field failures as well as production issues.
    • Guide and mentor junior engineers

    You Have:

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics or related EE focus
    • 10+years of relevant experience on electrical systems design
    • Application of sound electrical design fundamentals
    • Working knowledge in electrical power distribution including AC and DC systems, electrical/electronic components
    • 3 Ph inverters and its paralleling techniques
    • Awareness of NEC and UL standards relevant to the design of power converters
    • Proficiency with EE tools such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers in troubleshooting high power, high voltage equipment in a laboratory environment as well as in field
    • Knowledge on quality tools like FMEA, RCA and fault tree analysis.
    • Ability to handle design responsibility for multiple projects
