Responsibilities
Catering Assistants are responsible for assisting the Catering Sales Manager in acquiring maintaining and servicing catering customers Essential Functions: Assist Catering Sales Manager in the organization of special events and catering orders Available to work a variety of hours days shifts including weekends Safely effectively use operate all necessary tools equipment Ability effectively communicate order perform job requirements written spoken direction Ability multitask calmly under pressure Work confined crowded space variable noise temperature levels Able move lift up pounds frequently move occasionally move lift up pounds Key Responsibilities Duties: Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations anticipate guests needs Greet guests warm sincere smile Use tact good judgement dealing guest challenges respond guest needs patience courtesy Assist overseeing catered events Assist special projects when required Partners GMs Managers Complete server training Become proficient servicing calls Answer incoming calls emails distribute appropriate person Email fax mail collateral materials prospective clients Update client list property LEYE Maintain update organize files sales supplies Develop writing proposals contracts Attend weekly meetings communicate pertinent information personnel Order maintain party decorations equipment Maintain preferred third-party vendors Comprehend maintain incentive programs customers Accurately record account items ordered process payments balance receipts compliance restaurant policies procedures Understand respond knowledgeably questions menu Use sales techniques present encourage promotions guests Follow steps service Understand follow food allergy procedure restrictions Comply safety sanitation guidelines Follow rules policies conditions employment Employee Handbook Get along well others team player Other duties assigned needed.Job description
