- Develop analytical models to assess the ability of EBAD products to meet functionalrequirements.
- Envision and assess alternate concepts to meet functional requirements
- Supporting project and operations teams by providing expert level assistance
- Support existing products and product upgrades
- Participate in failure analysis activities
- The successful candidate must have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 6 years design and/or analysis of aerospace and defense products.
- Strong background in Finite Elements
- Demonstrated experience performing thermal and/or structural analysis of component leveldesigns.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for interaction with various levels of management
- Written reports, continuous improvement projects, power point presentations, and leading
problem solving teams are all expected to be developed skills. - Strong follow through and ability to work with Engineers to develop analytical models in support of product development, testing, and failure investigations.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite software.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical product drawings.
- Experience with ANSYS and SolidWorks preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with energetic materials a plus.
- Ability to perform explicit dynamic analyses
