    The Role\u00A0\u00A0

    The Defined Benefits Technical Consultant will support the business by working on highly complex Defined Benefit data consulting projects leveraging their analytical strengths and skills. We are looking for someone to join our great team of experts, who enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can provide quality work and a best-in-class client/customer experience.\u00A0

    The Technical Consultant leverages various service category databases, data warehouses, and other technical applications (i.e. SQL, Snap Logic, Access, Snowflake, Excel) to identify, analyze and propose solutions to clean the data required to provide accurate administration of\u00A0Defined Benefits.\u00A0\u00A0The incumbent must have deep Defined Benefits Domain Knowledge accompanied by\u00A0 strong analytical technical skillset.

    The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is composed of over 300 professionals who advise clients on the management of their domestic benefits. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes.\u00A0

    Data Consulting engages in data quality improvement efforts that span single and multiple product lines (i.e. Health and Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Stock Plan Services and HR/Payroll) within the implementation and ongoing servicing client lifecycle.\u00A0

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring\u00A0

    • Required: 4+ Years of demonstrated Defined Benefit and/or Pension Administration experience\u00A0required
    • Required: 4+ years writing SQL\u00A0
    • Experience using Excel formulas for data analysis and data comparisons\u00A0
    • Ability to translate technical client specifications into data analysis deliverables\u00A0
    • Strong data analysis skills\u00A0\u00A0
    • Experience querying large data sets with optimized SQL code\u00A0
    • Knowledge of Fidelity s backend product tables (DBR1, WIDE, Snowflake, etc.) a plus\u00A0\u00A0
    • Ability to prioritize fast paced work\u00A0
    • Experience in a consulting role a plus\u00A0
    • ETL Experience
    • Bachelor's degree\u00A0or equivalent years of experience

    The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year. \u00A0

    Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate s relevant experience, and other factors.

    Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation. \u00A0\u00A0
