    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    onsemi is seeking a candidate with strong problem solving and analytical skills to join the Integrated Planning Team within SCM group. You will drive forecast consensus between Sales and Business Unit stakeholders which will drive the Unconstrained and Constrained Demand Plan (URDP/ CRDP). Forecast alignment and accuracy is critical component of onsemi's success and you'll collaborate with global cross-functional team to support corporate revenue strategy and goals.

    In this on-site role based in San Jose, CA or Scottsdale, AZ you will be working with a global cross-functional team including sales, engineering, marketing, and operations professionals. You will lead the consensus demand reviews as part of the S&OP process through partnership with Sales, BU, and Manufacturing Operations. You will participate in weekly BU business review and monthly Sales forecast review to drive alignment to S&OP and S&OE.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build a demand forecast that fits the business needs
    • Work with the supply and capacity planning team to align production plans with the demand forecast
    • Segment strategies for the multiple phases of production to optimize and drive our inventory strategy
    • Identify critical technology capabilities and gaps to support work processes
    • Meet key inventory objectives, while ensuring optimal levels that reduces or eliminates excess and obsolete inventory
    • Communicate any gaps or deviations from the production plan, and the recovery strategy that will be deployed to ensure goal attainment
    Qualifications

    Requirements:
    • Understanding of leading demand planning process and leading practice, particularly for automotive OEM
    • Deep understanding and ability to apply concepts of elasticity, probability, correlation, statistical significance, and modeling and forecasting skills
    • Ability to drive forward actions and adhere to milestones/timelines
    • Ability to work directly with partner teams to gather inputs and present findings autonomously.
    • Ability to translate nuanced research/modeling findings into clean and clear presentation material, and comfortable with verbally presenting
    • 7-10 years of business/demand planning or relevant experience
    • BA or BS degree in Business, Econ, Data Science, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related from an accredited university
