    1st Shift- Maintenance Mechanic, $20-27/hr - Middlebury, IN
    Are you an experienced, hard-working mechanic looking to grow in your career?
    This company wants to hire you full-time


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and
    equipment

    • Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and make repairs as needed
    • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
    • Install new machinery and equipment as required
    • Complete maintenance and repair logs, and maintain equipment in good working
    condition

    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment
    performance

    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and
    productivity


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical
    maintenance is a plus

    • Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing
    setting, preferably in the food processing or poultry industry

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical
    components

    • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
    • Excellent attendance
