    Description


    Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer for one of our clients who specializes in the manufacturing and delivery of high-tech food service equipment.

    Their focus is on delivering an extraordinary customer experience through innovative technologies, which will improve the parts research and purchasing process.

    This role will be fully remote but required to work EST hours (8-9am start time EST).


    In this role you will be joining an IT team of about 10-15 people and working very closely with the Network/Infrastructure Manager.

    To start, there will be numerous projects that need to be completed, and then it will shift to more clean-up work for their Meraki solution where you will be analyzing network performance, adjusting traffic controls, shaping the quality of service to improve performance at individual sites.

    Our client has about 100 different locations currently.

    In this role we are looking for someone who can work in a collaborative team environment but also complete tasks on their own.

    The breakdown of work will be about 50/50 in regard to teamwork and individual work.

    This person will serve as the escalation point for the help desk on any network related issues as well as help the team with trainings as they do cross trainings every week to bolster the team environment and knowledge.



    Additional Responsibilities will include:

    • Design, Implement, configure, monitor, maintain, secure, and support networks and networking equipment including, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, load balancers, and other hardware and virtual appliances and machines.
    • Manage and administer ISE clusters to include design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
    • Troubleshoot ISE performance and end user authentication issues.
    • Work with Meraki and SD-WAN technologies to optimize network performance and efficiency for over 100 satellite locations.
    • Develop and implement solutions utilizing Meraki API tools to automate network provisioning, monitoring, and management processes.
    • Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco Umbrella solutions to protect the organization's network against malicious activities and cyber threats.
    • Configure and manage DNS security policies, content filtering, and threat intelligence within the Cisco Umbrella platform.

    Experience with Cisco ISE

    • Azure experience
    • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
    • 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, maintaining network infrastructure for enterpriselevel organizations.
    o Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki


    • Experience with Cisco Umbrella
    • Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Datadog, etc.)
    • Networking certification (preferred CMNA or CMSS)
