Description

As an experienced expert, you will support our sales representatives in the Dublin area in expanding and developing the market. You will be a competent contact for our customers, ensuring long-term collaboration and working towards maintaining and improving electrical safety and preventing fire hazards in electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include independently conducting inspections on safety systems such as electrical systems, emergency power supply, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and alert systems, in accordance with building regulations and VDS standards. You will also be responsible for conducting pre-commissioning and recurring inspections on electrical systems and fixed equipment. This role requires a high level of autonomy and self-sufficiency in your designated region.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience as a certified expert for electrical systems in building regulations (BMA and/or SSV) and VDS, with a strong ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills
  • Technical training is advantageous
  • Ideally recognized as an expert for fire alarm systems and/or emergency power supply, as well as a VDS expert. Otherwise, a willingness to undergo training in these areas in a timely manner is required
  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems is desirable
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and electrical engineering standards is advantageous
