Job Title: Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Web Developer
Location: (City, State): Remote
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months

Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Web Developer for a remote 12-month contract position. Our client is an established full-service marketing agency with large clients in the automotive industry. Will be responsible for interfacing with customers and developing consumer-facing websites and landing pages, using ROR (Ruby on Rails), JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, PostgreSQL, GIT, etc. These websites will help their clients collect customer information from events.

Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby on Rails code
Implement front-end technologies to create high-performing, responsive and interactive web applications (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Qualifications:

5+ years full-stack web development
Prior experience developing consumer-facing business websites
5+ years of experience developing Ruby on Rails web applications
5+ years of front-end web development utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap
Prior experience writing and supporting RESTful APIs
Experience with PostgreSQL
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Plusses:

Familiarity with cloud services like AWS
Experience with native mobile application development (iOS/ Android)
