- Manage all information technology, telecommunication, and computer systems.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on a timely basis.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Prepare the Department's annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Develop and recommend long- and short-range systems plans.
- Provide day-to-day support of our Epicor Kinetic ERP system.
- Backup of other IT positions as needed.
- Proven work experience as an IT Director, IT Manager, or equivalent experience.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data center management and data governance
- Minimum of three years' experience in the administration and maintenance of SQL-based ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SSRS and SQL – preferably in a Epicor Kinetic ERP environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills in a business environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
