    Position Overview

    If you are a customer-focused and outgoing individual who enjoys working with the public, then a career as a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the perfect fit for you. State Farm agents exclusively promote State Farm insurance and financial service products.



    Responsibilities:
    • Establish and nurture customer relationships
    • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including addressing inquiries about insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, and more
    • Educate customers on insurance options through a needs-based review process
    • Collaborate with the agent to achieve marketing goals
    • Generate leads, schedule appointments, and recommend appropriate products and services

    Requirements:
    • Passion for marketing products based on customer needs
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
    • Interest in the role of insurance and financial products in protecting people from risks and helping them achieve their goals
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work in a team, multi-task, and meet marketing goals
    • Property and Casualty license (ability to obtain)
    • Life and Health license (ability to obtain)
