    This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that's sufficient for completing their job remotely.

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, the Senior Web Designer will play a pivotal role in extending our brand marketing campaign work, editorial content, and product storytelling into H-D. This remote position requires a conscientious individual to work with closely with the brand team, and collaborate with the UX and dev teams, ensuring a cohesive, meaningful, and visually premium representation of Harley-Davidson's identity.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Website Content Design: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of brand-focused content on H-D, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Collaboration with UX Team: Work closely with the UX team to integrate compelling design elements that enhance user experience and align with technical capabilities.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and enhance brand consistency across all digital platforms, aligning web content with Harley-Davidson's brand guidelines and values.
  • Content Design Expertise: Bring expertise in content design, emphasizing the communication of brand stories, product technology, innovation, events, and editorial content.
  • Responsive Design: Create designs that are responsive across various devices, ensuring seamless experiences on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to extend the brand content on H-D.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on the website to identify and resolve any design-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Education Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree Preferred

    Education Specifications

  • HS Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field preferred
  • Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous brand-focused web design projects.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in content design, with a focus on communicating brand stories, product technology, innovation, events, and editorial content.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the UX and dev teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
