Position:

We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Saw Operator at our South Chesterfield, VA location. The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting Raw-Stock of various metal materials to specifications

Duties include but are not limited to:

Cut parts to specification.
Load and unload delivery trucks.
Organize and inventory raw materials.
Operate grinders.
Maintain functionality and cleanliness of relevant equipment
Work closely with fabrication team members.
Work with the Service Manager on Service and Aftermarket related topics that require cutting on short notice.
Follow established fabrication procedures and standards.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to adjust speed and feed values for various materials.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to use measuring instruments e.g., tape measures (both metric and standard) and calipers.
Ability to plan and organize work to maximize efficiency.
Ability to determine the type, size, and shape of materials.
Basic understanding of geometry concepts.
