- Work closely with CEO to develop The Media Trust solutions with state and local governments.
- Develop and implement strategies to target state, local, and federal government sectors.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients within the public sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within government agencies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and public sector events.
- Deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential clients and partners.
- Monitor public sector procurement portals for relevant tenders and RFPs.
- Lead proposal development, ensuring compliance with government regulations and requirements.
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and technical teams to tailor solutions for the public sector.
- Gather feedback from the public sector to guide future product developments and improvements.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs for the public sector.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to the leadership team.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the digital trust and safety, cyber security, and government sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the cyber security domain.
- Proven track record of successfully selling to the public sector.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Prior experience working in or with government agencies.
- Knowledge of the specific cyber security challenges faced by the public sector.
